PHANTOMS

                           

The club has an active fleet of "PHANTOM" class racing dinghies and is keen to attract new members to this class.

These 14'6"  high performance single-handed dinghies, are built to a one design rule and can be sailed by the relative newcomer, yet demand the best of the more experienced helm.

An annual highlight of the year is the Open meeting held for the class which attracts competitors from all over the country.

HANDICAP FLEET

The club has a wide variety of racing dinghies with Wayfarers, Wanderers, Lasers,  Enterprises, and Fireballs all being welcome to race in a handicap fleet.

Racing takes place on Sunday mornings, throughout the year on the tidal River Crouch, with a large number of racing and navigation marks available to provide challenging courses at all states of tide and with all wind directions.
